George A. Gallup - SAMS/AMS of Gallup Yacht Surveying will preset this seminar. George is the past president of SAMS (The Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors).

George will discuss types of surveys and their purpose, choosing a surveyor and what you should expect from your marine surveyor. Is there a difference between a survey done for insurance purposes and one done for the buying or selling of a boat? George will answer questions at the end of the seminar.

Do you wonder about your rigging? When was the last time it was inspected? How & when should it be inspected or serviced? What are the signs of wear and fatigue? How about your furler system, chainplates, rig tuning and lifelines? What are the appropriate wire sizes for your rig and boat? These topics will be discussed and Bam will also be answering questions at the end of the seminar.

What should you do to de-winterize and prep your boat for use? Where should you start? How often should that impeller be changed, and belts, filters etc. This informational seminar will help to take the guesswork out of re-commissioning your engine and boat. There will be a questions and answer period at the end of the seminar.

Billy is the parts manager here at Merri-Mar. Billy will be discussing the information you should know when ordering parts & accessories for your boat/engine and the importance of it all. He will also be discussing new products and answer questions you may have regarding our product lines and preferences.

Brandon  is the Yacht Broker here at Merri-Mar. Brandon will be discussing various facets of brokerage and the broker's role. What does a broker offer  and what is the role as a "buyers broker  and/or sellers broker".  He will also be discussing listing and staging your boat for sale, as well as how to go about searching for your next boat!

And as always, Billy and Brandon will be available for questions.
